Week 1 Reflection: teachintechgal
As a website, http://www.teachintechgal.com/ is a great resource for anyone looking to integrate technology into their education curriculum. The website was eye-opening to me, as I had never seen a teacher with such an informative and modern webpage being used as a personal platform. The blog section however, was quite different than I expected. I was surprised to find that most of the blog posts on the site were simple posts about videos or links to a resource, with little text that one would normally see in a blog. I explored the blog a little to find a plethora of helpful how-to videos and links to online resources that could be great in the hands of a tech-savvy teacher. Overall, this website taught me a lot about laying a foundation for yourself as a teacher in the online world and the importance of staying up-to-date with modern forms of communication.
